A logical model for the ontology alignment repair game

چکیده
Ontology alignments enable agents to communicate while preserving heterogeneity in their knowledge. Alignments may not be provided as input and should able evolve when communication fails or new information contradicting the alignment is acquired. The Alignment Repair Game (ARG) has been proposed for simultaneously repair through adaptation operators failures occur. ARG evaluated experimentally experiments showed that converge towards successful improve alignments. However, whether are formally correct, complete redundant could established by experiments. We introduce a logical model, Dynamic Epistemic Logic (DEOL), enables us answer these questions. This framework allows (1) express ontologies used via faithful translation from DEOL, (2) model dynamic modalities (3) define establish correctness, partial redundancy incompleteness of ARG.

The interoperability of data depends on the availability of alignments among different ontologies. Various approaches to match, merge and integrate ontologies and, more recently, to interlink RDF data sets were developed over. Even though the research area has matured, the full automation of the ontology alignment process is not feasible and the human user is indispensable. Such tasks involve m...

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...
Combining statistical and logical inference for ontology alignment
In recent years, ontologies have proved a very attractive medium for storing domain knowledge in a variety of organizations; a few example domains are medicine and genetics. The rapid evolution of representation standards has led to the creation of distinct ontology bases in overlapping domains, making it paramount for large systems to reconcile ontological data from multiple sources. A large b...
متن کاملA Markov Model for Ontology Alignment
The explosion of available data along with the need to integrate and utilize that data has led to a pressing interest in data integration techniques. In terms of Semantic Web technologies, Ontology Alignment is a key step in the process of integrating heterogeneous knowledge bases. In this paper, we present the Edge Confidence technique, a modification and improvement over the popular Similarit...
